‘We are pleased once again to welcome the Government Offices of Sweden as one of our customers, and we look forward to putting our excellent services and modern facilities at its disposal. This is an assignment of historic importance which will put Scandinavian XPO on the international map. It is also generating business for several of our partners and the area in general, for example, the hotels, restaurants, and public services available here’, says Anna Bauer, CEO of Scandinavian XPO.
Strategic location for meetings, trade fairs, and events
Scandinavian XPO opened its doors in 2021 and in the short time since it has hosted several important meetings with stringent security demands. In 2021, for example, the OSCE held an in-person meeting at Scandinavian XPO, with the US, Russian, and Canadian foreign ministers in attendance in addition to the majority of the EU’s foreign ministers.
The success of the OSCE meeting in December 2021 with 57 foreign ministers and their delegations not only shows the rigorous security Scandinavian XPO has in place, but also that it can create inspiring, creative spaces for in-person meetings. The OSCE meeting had the highest security ever seen in Swedish history.
